  • The brisk peace process on the Korean Peninsula entered “a new, higher stage” on Monday as the two Koreas agreed to begin reconnecting their rail and road links that have been cut since the 1950-53 Korean War.

    The warming ties between the two Koreas have left the U.S. concerned.

  • North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in.

    In a “leap forward” N. Korea’s Kim Jong-un has agreed to permanently shut down a key facility for testing and launching missiles if the U.S. takes “reciprocal measures,” said the South’s President Moon Jae-in.
