    Ukraine's Prime Minister signed a deal with the European Union on Friday, in a show of solidarity by the bloc as Russian President Vladimir Putin finalized Russia's annexation of Crimea.

    The European Union and United States have announced asset freezes and travel bans on a number of officials from Russia and Ukraine.
