VIDEO: Lockhart on U.S. economic “mojo”

The President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Dennis Lockhart took a unique approach to the state of the U.S. economy as he reflected on the “mojo” of it. At a time when the economic debate in the U.S., and elsewhere around the world especially in the emerging markets, is focused on the Federal Reserve’s plan to start tapering bond purchases, Lockhart believes that in fact the U.S. has lost some of its appeal. The Fed’s communication strategy is another matter of discussion, however Lockhart seems to know very well how to choose his words.
