Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has demanded actionable evidence from India over allegations that the suicide attack, which killed 40 members of India’s paramilitary troops last week, was orchestrated by Islamabad.

Amid rising tensions between the two arch-rivals, Khan warned that Pakistan is prepared to retaliate against any “adventurism” if India carries out military strikes against his country, writes the BBC.

Khan called on India to stop blaming Pakistan for the Kashmir terror attack without any evidence, adding that his government will cooperate with New Delhi in investigating the blast, reports Reuters.

Pakistan-based terror outfit, Jaish-e-Mohammad, claimed responsibility for the Pulwama attack, but India maintains that the group is a stooge of Islamabad’s army that has waged a proxy war in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir.
