Kavanaugh rebuffs “smear” as fresh allegations emerge

A 53-year-old woman, Deborah Ramirez, who attended Yale University alongside the U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, has accused the judge of inappropriate sexual behavior during her college days.

In an interview with the New Yorker’s, Ramirez recalled an incident of a dormitory party in the 1980s when Kavanaugh allegedly exposed his genitals at her, leaving her “embarrassed and humiliated,” in front of others, notes The Guardian.

Kavanaugh, already dogged by sexual misconduct allegations by a professor Christine Blasey Ford, dismissed the latest accusations as “a smear” and vowed to defend the truth and his reputation during the Senate committee testimony on Thursday, writes the BBC.
