Recently, Chinese internet monitors tasted the brute brilliance of the country’s netizens after a tech-savvy user found a clever way to dodge online blockades and share an investigative article on unsafe vaccines via blockchain.

Amid hue and cry following the revelation that drug manufacturer Changchun Changsheng Biotechnology was selling unsafe vaccines, the story soon vanished on the internet, a no-surprise for people used to the government’s murky gatekeeping policies, notes Futurism.

An internet user navigated this crackdown on information by sending to himself $0.47 worth of the digital asset Ether and posting the article in the transaction’s metadata, a piece that now stays in public glare for the platform is decentralized and beyond tamper, writes The Verge.
