A “dumb security flaw” has left the U.S. military embarrassed and the cyber experts dumbfounded after an anonymous hacker sneaked into its systems and got hold of top-secret documents about combat drones, tank manuals and IED survival tactics.

The breach may have been accidental but the hacked documents landed straightway on the dark web market, listed at between $150 and $200, writes Futurism.

The fact that an apparent novice hacker could break into the Pentagon systems raises grave concerns about what sophisticated hackers can unleash, especially with aide and encouragement by foreign adversaries, notes Fortune.
