The irony of Britain’s post-Brexit dependence on U.S.

As U.S. President Donald Trump prepares to visit the U.K. next week, Britain comes to the terms that ironically its worth to the closest ally post-Brexit will be diminished while its reliance on Washington will be more than ever.

While Trump’s meeting British Prime Minister Theresa May could be heavy on rhetoric, it is unlikely to yield anything substantial in relation to post-Brexit deal, writes Reuters.

Trump, who will fly to the U.K. after attending a NATO summit in Brussels on July 12, will be greeted by planned protests in Wales, reports Wales Online.
