Amid immigration policy confusion that follows U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to keep illegal migrant families together in detention during the trial, the American military has been asked to prepare for housing nearly 20,000 immigrant children.

The U.S. immigration policy is in a shambles with no clarity over when the children would be reunited with their families and where the families would be detained while immigration proceedings go on, notes Reuters.

Amid outrage at home and abroad, the U.S. First Lady Melania Trump visited a migrant child detention center in Texas but courted a controversy by sporting a jacket with graffiti writing, “I really don't care do u?,” which many saw as an unempathetic quote, reports the BBC.
