The North Korean media lavished praise on leader Kim Jong-un for his “meeting of the century” with U.S. President Donald Trump, describing it as an “epoch-making” development that sets the stage for peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

The media highlighted Trump’s surprise concession of halting joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises in the Korean region, reports The Guardian.

After landing in the U.S., Trump called his meeting with Kim “interesting and very positive experience,” adding that N. Korea is no longer a nuclear threat, writes Reuters.
