Fashion and environment have been rivals for a better part of their history, a dynamics that can only change by switching to sustainable production models, responsible consumption and innovation.
Italian fashion company Kloters is weaving green innovation in fabrics, offering a new line of T-shirts, called RepAir, which trap and break down pollutants and foul odors, notes Inhabitat.
RepAir’s anti-pollutant features are attributed to a patented absorbent fabric, the Breath, which sits inside the pocket and can be replaced when required. A lab test at Università delle Marche in Ancona found that one T-shirt is capable of offsetting the emissions of two cars, writes Forbes.
