S. Korea’s Moon visits U.S. to discuss plan for summit

South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in is set to meet his American counterpart Donald Trump on Tuesday to chalk out a plan for the proposed June 12 summit between the U.S. and N. Korea as the two sides lock horns over the term “denuclearization.”

Moon is likely to use his visit to the White House to convince Trump of a possible diplomatic headway and also to urge a restrained approach by the U.S. officials heading into the summit, writes The Guardian.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence has warned the N. Korean leader not to “play” President Trump if the summit takes place, notes the BBC.
