Experts like Accenture’s Paul Daugherty and Jim Wilson are observing a new pattern in the hiring spree of technology and social media firms.
Facebook’s recent announcement to double the size of its digital security and content review team to 20,000 reflects how the platform is trying to catch-up with its own AI systems to conform to legal, regulatory, ethical and community obligations and standards, writes Fast Company.
Daugherty and Wilson, in their book “Human + Machine: Reimagining Work in the Age of AI,” categorize three sets of jobs that are likely to emerge with AI boom, advocating that this technology wouldn’t eat jobs but “chew them and spit out.”
