British Prime Minister Theresa May will urge EU leaders at a summit in Brussels on Thursday to respond to the Russian threat and expel the state’s intelligence agents to dismantle the Kremlin’s networks across Europe.
The summit comes amid high tensions between the U.K. and Russia after a nerve agent attack on a Russian double agent and his daughter in Salisbury, which Britain blames on Moscow, notes The Guardian.
The European Council is expected to strongly condemn the attack despite a few bloc members’ reluctance to point fingers at Russia, reports the BBC.
