As the old adage goes “a picture is worth a thousand words,” – a photographer, Benjamin Von Wong is translating this power into a tool to create awareness about the importance of recycling tonnes and tonnes of E-waste tossed into landfills.
The photographer has turned 4,100 pounds of discarded computers and electronic accessories into a set of surreal portraits, writes Petapixel.
Recycling of E-waste remains an unglamorous topic, a reason why Von Wong chose photography to draw attention and compel people to talk about it, notes Green Matters.
