The motive behind the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting still remains shrouded in mystery as death toll after the carnage on Sunday night hit 59. Although Islamic State claimed responsibility for the bloodshed, the U.S. investigators have ruled out any conclusive link between the gunman and the international terror outfit

Police seized 23 guns from the hotel room where the 64-year-old gunman, identified as Stephen Paddock, was staying, writes the BBC.

Investigators also recovered huge stockpile of firearms and explosives from Paddock’s home in Mesquite, about 90 miles northeast of Las Vegas, but what triggered a psychopathic action still remains to be ascertained, notes Reuters.
