The proposed Eco-Luxury Hotel in the Paris Rive Gauche neighborhood will have lush, greenery punctuating the overlapping wooden blocks that line up on its façade.

Design studio Kengo Kuma & Associates wanted the travelers to take a break from the dense urban context of the Avenue de France and slip into an intimate sphere of nature on the bank of Paris’ Seine River, writes Dezeen.

In addition to the balconies, rooftops and interiors that are clad with green plants, a public garden nestles between the main U-shaped 1Hotel and Slo Living youth hostel, creating an illusion of a dense forest within the complex, notes Inhabitat.
