Google’s “style ideas” to spruce up your wardrobe

Web giant, Google, on Thursday rolled out a new feature, called “style ideas,” which shows users what fashion items suit the clothing they are looking for in Image Search. The feature, available in the Google app for Android and on the mobile web, seeks to project Google as a place to shop rather than just searching images.

On browsing specific fashion product images, the user will be shown lifestyle images and outfits helping them visualize how to sport the product in real life, notes Entrepreneur.

Google, lagging behind e-commerce platforms Amazon and eBay in product search, aims to claw back into the segment with the new feature, writes
