Shoes of the Future at Erarta Museum in St Petersburg

Offering a potential peak into the future of fashion, the Genesis exhibition, opening on December 19 at the Erarta Museum in St Petersburg, promises to enthrall footwear lovers with a presentation of creations that range from high heels shaped as revolvers to boots made of recycled crosses and shoes with fangs.

Themed around visual concepts as varied as apocalypse and utopia, the new exhibition will bring together 120 pairs of shoes by a bevy of world–famous designers and creatives.

Along with more well-known futuristic creations by Zaha Hadid, Iris Van Herpen, and Noritaka Tatehana, get ready to discover intriguing footwear and heel shapes by Gianluca Tamburini, Andreia Chaves, Anastasia Radevich, Omar Angel Perez, and Gianluca Tamburini, to name a few.
