Israel has rejected a ceasefire plan proposed by international bodies led by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. While Israel has not rejected all options for ceasefire, the death toll in the Gaza Strip is nearing 850, and the IDF continues its offensive against Hamas. Egypt's leader has officially come forward on Israel's side, denouncing Hamas.
