Iran leader calls for closer ties with Gulf states

Tehran has upped its outreach to U.S.-allied countries in an effort to rebuild relations strained by the war in Syria. Tensions with countries like Saudi Arabia have further been strained by worries over Iran's nuclear capabilities.
