Palestinians back Abbas on Washington visit

The Palestinian leader is visiting the U.S. capital to discuss stalled peace talks with Israel. Rallies broke out Monday in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in support of Abbas -- and against perceived American pressure to extend peace negotiations with Israel.
