Sir Tim Berners-Lee -- considered by many to be a founding father of the internet, if not the inventor of the web -- has declared that the internet is in need of freedom. Likening it much to a 25 year-old person, he called for an international "Magna Carta" that would effectively set rules in place for the web's future freedom and the freedom of its users.
