Contraceptive, anti-HIV ring being tested

A contraceptive ring is being tested to also provide HIV-preventing drugs -- the first time such a device will provide drugs to prevent two different conditions. While it has not yet been tested on humans, its potential success could have important effects on populations in areas of the world where contraceptive practices are not popular or tools are not available.
