Injections could protect humans from AIDS

A major breakthrough in preventing the spread of HIV could be at hand as researchers have discovered a way to protect monkeys from the virus. The injections given to monkeys protected them from contracting HIV for weeks, and with monthly injections of antiretroviral drugs, they were 100% protected.
