Deforestation linked to drug traffic

Drug traffickers making way for the increased demand for narcotics flowing from Mexico to the U.S. have cleared Central American forests to do so. Drug trafficking is ravaging the landscape as drug traders dig into the forests to form secret roads and landing strips for planes delivering narcotics.
