Italy’s Fiat Chrysler to list in N.Y. and set tax home in U.K.

Fiat-Chrysler will restructure its business to list in New York and establish a new holding company in the Netherlands as the newly-combined carmaker confirms a politically sensitive decision to shift away from Fiat’s traditional Italian home. Italian car maker Fiat announced plans to merge with its U.S. unit Chrysler to create the world's seventh-largest automaker after securing full control of the Detroit-based group earlier this year.
