HP is launching two large-screened smartphones in India that are considered phablets because of their 6- and 7-inch screens. The Slate 6 and the Slate 7 VoiceTab are targeted at the booming Indian smartphone market after HP's CEO Meg Whitman said last year that her company needs to deliver a smartphone in order to stay relevant.
