India's Congress Party tries to get clean

Alleged corruption has dogged the government of outgoing Indian Premier Manmohan Singh, and his Congress Party allies know it. So in addition to embracing Rahul Gandhi as their standard-bearer in upcoming elections, party leadership hopes to develop a slate of candidates whose ethics are beyond reproach.
