China premier warns of slowing job growth

Slowing growth poses a challenge to job creation and China will need to achieve a "golden" balance between structural adjustment and growth, Premier Li Keqiang says. Li's remarks, reported by state media as being made in a recent meeting with business leaders, come ahead of a Communist Party plenum to discuss deepening reforms. The country's leaders have made it clear they will accept lower growth rates during a transformation of the world's second largest economy away from an export-led economy to one more reliant on domestic consumption. Li said such a path would present challenges.
