SKF to acquire Kaydon for $1.25B

Sweden's SKF, the world's biggest bearings maker, is to buy U.S.-based Kaydon Corp. in an all-cash $1.25 billion deal. The acquisition will help the SKF broaden its customer base away from Europe where it now makes more than half its sales.
