Bankruptcy court approves AA-US Airways merger

AMR Corp, American Airlines' bankrupt parent, won court approval to merge with US Airways Group and create the world's largest airline. In approving the $11 billion merger, the judge rejected a $20 million severance payout for outgoing American chief executive Tom Horton.
