Boeing is seeking permission from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to conduct test flights of its troubled 787 Dreamliner passenger jet. All 50 of Boeing's 787s were grounded in January because of an investigation into battery problems. By seeking to be allowed test flights, Boeing is suggesting it is closer to solving the problem.
