Dell buyout seen imminent

A buyout proposal for Dell valuing the computer maker at about $24 billion is expected to be unveiled early this week, the Financial Times reports quoting people familiar with the situation. The world's third largest PC maker by shipments is discussing an agreement to sell itself to a buyout consortium led by Michael Dell, its founder and chief e and end weeks of speculation about the fate of the company.
