Mursi said to meet IMF official on Monday

A senior official in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will reportedly meet Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi and other top officials on Monday to discuss Cairo's request for a $4.8 billion loan, the state-run Akhbar Al-Youm daily reported on Saturday. The IMF loan is seen as crucial to ease Egypt's budget deficit and economic slump.
