Mugabe's corruption problem

As loyalists met at their grandiose convention center to plot his re-election, Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe responded to growing evidence of corruption among government ministers by promising to fire them. Of course, more structural issues -- including the still-unresolved question of his succession atop the powerful ZANU-PF party -- remain unresolved.
