Apple rumored to consider replacing Intel chips with homegrown ones

If Apple decides to replace the Intel microprocessing chips in its devices with Mac versions out of its own labs, Intel will receive a huge blow to its foothold in the PC market as companies move mobile. With its own chips, Apple will then have the ability to provide a more unified operating system across Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
