Telefonica to go ahead with German IPO

Spanish communications company Telefonica is moving ahead with its plan for an initial public offering in Germany. Bank of America, BNP Paribas, Citigroup and HSBC are working on the transaction. This news comes a day after the company announced it would invest 68 million euros in venture capital funds in order to grow its digital division.
