Biometric ring seeks to kill passwords, keys & cards

Token, a biometric ring takes the concept of smart accessory a notch higher with its ability to identify you and authorize invariably all kinds of transactions without complex passwords, card swipes or keys.

When you put on the ring, it scans your fingerprints and authorizes transactions as long as it is on, notes Planet Biometrics. The connection breaks once you take the ring off, which means no one else can use it to impersonate you.

The makers of this nifty ring have tied up with an impressive list of third parties, including MasterCard, Microsoft, Visa and HID, which lets you to just tap the ring on a read to unlock doors, make credit card payments and do much more, writes Engadget.
