Turkey will not withdraw judiciary bill

The government of embattled premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that it would not withdraw a controversial piece of legislation aimed at tightening the administration's hold over judicial appointments. The news comes amid a highly visible power struggle between the P.M. and supporters of U.S.-based cleric Fethullah Gulen.
